The Selected Candidate will perform work as a CEMAT technician onboard a US Navy aircraft carrier and/or LHA
Qualified candidates Must have the following:
• Experienced with repairing damage control closures.
• Knowledge of wire-rope weight-testing.
• Must be able to read and interpret blue-prints, technical manuals, and other technical documents for job completion.
• Knowledge of the Navy 3-M system.
• Must be able to travel up to 50% of the time.
• Must be able to provide hands-on technical training.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain base access.

Installs, operates, maintains, repairs and modifies equipment.
Performs a variety of maintenance and technical support on products such as equipment, integrated systems and subsystems, and software at customer and/or field locations.
Analyzes and evaluates products and related performance.
Troubleshoots and diagnoses malfunctions to eliminate problem in minimum time.

Basic Qualifications:
HS education or Trade School + 2 years of related experience. Prefer technical/professional certifications. Must provide own hand tools as designated per trades specialty.
